A three-acre, multi-use park with a focus on environmental stewardship, education, recreation and local food production.
Key Features for future development:
The park will engage stakeholder groups for the planting and harvesting of fruits and vegetables for local consumption. There are opportunities for individuals and groups to contribute with the construction of birdhouses and other animal habitats, and on-site educational programs.
This is a project shared by the West Park Community Association and the City of Red Deer, Parks Department.
